I hope to finish the bear staff today, trying to think of something to use for eyes...... like 22 bullets glued in or glass beads. Where should I post the pics? probably in the woodworking section, there are about ten pics to post.

The bear walking staff is alive, picked a branch from a wild pear tree in my back yard. I have been taking pics as work progresses, more to come....................

Bearpoo here, I'm scouting for a walking stick to carve, no small task in the city. I'm exited about doing it.

Aww, pick up one of the dead limbs off your oak. Or, round up a piece stock!

Hey Bill thanks for hooking me up to this site, I have been geting lots of information from other woodworkers. I've wanted to make a longbow for years but didnt know where to look for details. Hey I saw a picture of a knife made from a horseshoe, they cut it in half and forged the blade from the bottom part, it looks cool. I have some rail spikes to send you, be in the mail this week. Some one posted some recent pics of a rail knife, looks awsome.
